Having a new family member is an exciting time! It can also be quite stressful. Village Pediatrics is the perfect model for families welcoming their first baby or their fifth! If there is an opportunity, Dr. Forshey will come to the hospital for your first visit which can help ease the transition to home and help us arrange for follow-up when your baby is discharged.

We know most babies come with lots of questions and we are here to help! From feeding issues to hiccups to newborn rashes, we will help you determine if what you’re seeing is typical, or if we need to schedule a visit. We are available by text, which can make getting answers much quicker than waiting for a call back from an office. This feature is especially helpful in saving time and decreasing your worry since Dr. Forshey is readily available to you and your family.

In-home visits make appointments much more convenient, while avoiding the hassle (and germs) of a pediatric office. Visits in your home help us to avoid infections which can lead to a newborn being admitted to the hospital for evaluation. And, maybe you’ll be able to grab that nap before Dr. Forshey arrives at your home without having to pack up all the things your new addition needs to leave the house!
